The CMS Forums component of Symposium presents opinions, editorials, commentary, and essays concerning matters of immediate or historical importance to the music profession. CMS Forums also provides an opportunity for commentary and discussion.
The Editor welcomes at all times contributions from the CMS membership. CMS Forums seeks practical, brief, to-the-point articles, written in an informal, readable style. Articles that feature new information, humor, and fresh insights and perspectives are especially welcome.
Essays of any length are welcome. Graphics, images, video, sound files, and music examples that illuminate the text are welcome and encouraged. Please consult the guidelines for authors, as well as the instructions for submitting articles for consideration. When your article is complete, please use the online form to submit the article. The receipt of submissions will be acknowledged by the Editor and notification of the article's status will be provided promptly.
Please use the online submission form whenever you wish to have your work considered for publication.
Symposium cannot consider for publication anything that has been submitted simultaneously to another journal.
