Symposium Advertising Information

College Music Symposium is a web-based, peer-reviewed journal through which The College Music Society presents information for use by the public and professional musicians.

College Music Symposium presents the fruits of scholarship, research, discussion, and information dissemination in ten distinct components: (1) Scholarship and Research, (2) CMS Forums, (3) Reviews, (4) Instructional Technologies and Methodologies, (5) CMS Reports, (6) Video Lectures, Performances, and Lecture-Recitals, (7) Music Business-Industry, (8) Audio Performance Archive, (9) CMS Conference Archive, and (10) Events in Music.

Advertising opportunities are available on Symposium’s home page and the landing page for each of its ten components. Sponsorship of the Symposium website includes a banner display at the top, while individual ads are displayed in Symposium’s right column. All ads click through to the advertiser’s website.

We invite you to advertise in College Music Symposium. Details are as follows:

Sponsorship

Ad size: 300(w) x 150(h) pixels (.jpg. .gif, or .png)

Location: top right of the header banner of all pages

Cost:

  • $250 per single month
  • $450 for two consecutive months (10% discount)
  • $562.50 for three consecutive months (25% discount)

Right Column Ad

Ad size: 300(w) x 150(h) pixels (.jpg. .gif, or .png)

Location: right column of home page and main component landing pages, random ordering

Cost:

  • $100 per single month
  • $190 for two consecutive months (10% discount)
  • $225 for three consecutive months (25% discount)

Ads begin on the 1st day of the month and continue through the last day of that month. All advertisers receive a monthly site activity statement of impressions and click-throughs.
