The Charles Sumner and Paul Revere B rooms of the Hyatt Regency Cambridge will serve as practice rooms throughout the conference starting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30. Practice rooms will be open through 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2. Each will contain an upright piano, bench, and 2 music stands. Practice room reservations will be taken at the registration desk (not in advance of the conference) on a first-come, first-served basis. Each conference presenter may sign up for 30 minutes per day of practice time. Unfortunately the schedule is too tight to promise anyone practice time in the presentation room itself. We ask that you display the utmost in professional courtesy regarding piano usage.
Rehearsals for the Performances of New Music series: The practice rooms detailed above have been established primarily for presenters offering 25-minute lecture-recitals and performances in response to the Call for Program Participation. Specific times have been allotted this year for set- up and rehearsal in the concert space related to the Performances of New Music according to the following schedule:
