HOW TO RESERVE PRACTICE SPACE

NEW THIS YEAR: In lieu of paper sign-up forms, we are experimenting with a new online method for reserving practice rooms using your computer, cell phone, or tablet. Practice rooms may be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time on Wednesday, October 19. Until that time, you will be able to view the schedule but will not be able to sign up for a slot.

  1. Click here to see a list of all practice rooms, organized by date and time (you will be redirected to the SignUpGenius website).
  2. Tick the box next to the room and time you wish to reserve (this is a long list, so ensure you have selected the appropriate date), then click the “Submit and Sign Up” button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. You will now enter the names of any collaborators or the name of your ensemble (as appropriate), in the provided field, if applicable. Ensembles should list the name of their group in this field.
  4. If you have not used SignUpGenius before, you will be prompted to either create a new account or login with your Facebook credentials. IMPORTANT: Check the box “create an account with SignUpGenius” during this stage. Otherwise, you will not be able to cancel or edit your reservation later.
  5. After answering the questions under “Additional Information,” click “Sign Up Now.” You have now successfully reserved your chosen time slot and you will receive an email confirmation.
  6. You will be given the option of adding the rehearsal to your Outlook, Mac iCal, or Google calendar. Clicking “Back to Sign Up” will show you the master schedule once again, and your name should now appear in the slot(s) you have reserved.
