The content of the publication highlights concerns of general interest and reflects the work of the Society in all areas of music. The name “College Music Symposium” honors the achievements of the past while pointing to a continuing need of all working in the music field. College Music Symposium includes nine components, each with its own Editor and Editorial Board: (1) Scholarship and Research; (2) CMS Forums (opinions, editorials, commentary, and essays); (3) Reviews; (4) Instructional Technologies, Methodologies, and Resources; (5) CMS Reports; (6) the Audio Performance Archive (7) Video Lectures, Performances, and Lecture-Recitals; (8) Events in Music; and (9) CMS Conference Archive.
