Northeast Chapter Call for Performing Ensembles

Submission Deadline: 12:00 noon EST on Wednesday, July 17, 2013

The Northeast Chapter of The College Music Society is pleased to announce a Call for Performing Ensembles for its Regional Conference on April 4–5, 2014, in Potsdam, NY, at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.

The 2014 NE Composition Committee invites ensembles to perform works by CMS composers during the Composers’ Concert to be held during the conference. All instrumentations are welcome. Accepted ensembles will be combined with a pool of local performers and included in the Call for Scores, to be sent this summer. The Composition Committee will forward selected pieces to ensembles no later than November 15; performers will then have an opportunity to decline pieces that make excessive demands.
