We settle into a new rhythm, whether we’re teaching in a compressed summer term, participating in workshops, performing in festivals, disappearing into archives, launching creative projects, or simply going at a slower pace. Indeed, the rhythm of our annual schedule is unique in the world of work. Phoenix-like? Movement of the tides? However viewed, things change during the summer.
