The Miami International Piano Festival Academy launches its 5th edition 

An inspirational Experience Program for Performing Artists

Hosted by an outstanding group of international performing artists, the Miami International Piano Festival Academy provides inspirational experiences to pianists interested in advancing their concert careers.

The goal of this program is to provide pianists with a unique experience and exposure to different sources of information, that will allow participants achieve artistic freedom following on the tradition of the great pianists of the past.

The Piano Academy's warm spirit of collaboration and camaraderie will allow participants to bond with the faculty, overcome negative feelings of anxiety, insecurity and uncertainty, and connect with their inner selves.

Francesco Libetta, Jorge Luis Prats, Ilya Itin, Amir Katz, Zlata Chochieva, Josu de Solaun, Walter Ponce and Carlo Palese will be the faculty hosting this edition. Meng-Chie Liu, professor at the Curtis Institute of Music, will honor the Academy with his presence as visiting professor.

We are offering a limited amount of partial scholarships —early applications will be considered for the merit grants offered by the Academy. Don't miss this opportunity!

Hosted and directed by the internationally renowned soloist Jesús Reina, the MIPFA developed a new program where violinsts can grow and benefit from the Festival Philosophy.


Both violinists and pianists will have the opportunity to share chamber music projects and attend violin and piano masterclasses faculty lessons.
