Welcome to the Northeast Chapter of The College Music Society! We are glad you’re here! Come join our members from Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, the Maritime Provinces, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Our members find a home in CMS because of its wide diversity of musical interests and strong sense of community.
The Northeast Chapter of CMS hosts a conference every year in the Spring. These conferences feature papers, lecture-recitals, performances, a concert devoted to new music by CMS composers, panels, keynote and pedagogical speakers, and – most importantly – food and fellowship!
I hope that you will want to continue to be — or begin to become — involved in our Chapter. Our next conference will be held March 23 - 24 at Kutztown University. Please consider submitting a proposal and encourage your colleagues and students to do the same! We would love for you to attend to share and gain inspiration and community.
