One of the comments from the Generation Next survey reported: “We feel that the music products industry is the foundation of the entire music industry and attending the NAMM Show and Generation Next events helps to keep us informed of past practices, current events and trends, plus future predictions for the music products industry. The connection helps us to depict accurately the music products industry to our students, which better prepares them to work in this incredible field. This year especially, the students gained a priceless value of education from attending the show. Attending the sessions expands my goals of becoming a knowledgeable and accurate advocate for the music products industry. Not to mention that it inspires me to continue to improve my own musicianship.”

The partnership between NAMM and CMS has tremendous potential to help both organizations.  The Generation Next program provides an excellent opportunity for collaboration between the industry and the academy, with benefits to both.
