Charge
The Committee on Musicians' Health focuses on the health of all performing musicians and their teachers, regardless of race, ethnicity, geographic origin, gender identity and sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic background, religion, work experiences, or physical and intellectual abilities.
The Goals of the Committee are: 1. to bring the subject of musicians’ health to the foreground in the thinking of music educators and administrators; 2. to provide the CMS membership with access to research, educational resources and key events related to musicians’ health; 3. to aid faculty and administrators in fulfilling all four of the NASM wellness advisories; 4. to support CMS members seeking information about musicians’ health.
