CMS has reserved a block of guest rooms in each city. Complete details regarding conference hotels, including reservation instructions, will be posted here in the future. Meanwhile, for budgetary planning, the following discounted rates have been negotiated:

BRUSSELS (2 nights: July 11–12)

Single:      €120 / night
Double:     €140 / night

GHENT (3 nights: July 13–15)

Single:      €119 / night
Double:     €139 / night

BRUGES (3 nights: July 16–18)

Single:      €148 / night
Double:     €168 / night

How much is this in U.S. Dollars?

The above rates are inclusive of daily breakfast and a 21% VAT (Value Added Tax).

Please note: Local city tourist taxes are not included, so please be advised that this amount will be added to your bill upon checkout. Each municipality determines its own tax rate but, for budgeting purposes, each person should anticipate paying an additional €3–4 per night.

Room Types: In Europe, a single room is for just one person, while a double room is for two persons. These classifications refer to the number of people who will occupy the room rather than the size of bed that will be provided. Single rooms may contain a twin, double, or king bed, while double rooms may contain twin beds (which may or may not be pushed together), a double, or a king bed. The number of breakfasts is determined by the room type (a single room permits 1 person to enjoy breakfast while a double room will allow 2 people to eat).

For those interested in sharing accommodations, CMS provides an online bulletin board for locating potential roommates. Each traveler is responsible for securing his or her own roommate. Payment arrangements for shared rooms must be made between the involved parties.
