How can university music students effectively prepare for career success in today’s challenging environment? How can music faculty enhance their own professional progress and assist with meaningful career plans for students, particularly those from underrepresented groups? In a dynamic and interactive 1-hour webinar, attendees explore these issues with artists and/or other music professionals, students, and music career development experts.

Webinar attendees take away professional development tools and connections in addition to an awareness of relevant resources available through CMS and GenNext.

The webinar was presented by the CMS Committee for Career Development & Entrepreneurship (CCDE) in collaboration with the CMS/NAMM Foundation Program GenNext. The webinar discussion, and the selection of presenters, intentionally reflects the importance and relevance of equity and opportunity.
