Workshop Description: Musicians manage significant levels of stress and could be sidelined by physical overuse injuries, mental health crises, and lack of homeostasis and/or proper nutrition. As a musician, you have to reach into your depths to conjure emotional & authentic music that impacts others. Often we may feel like we are not performing optimally in one field of our life and that it is holding back our potential in performance or career longevity. Biomagnetic Adjustment is a unique form of magnetic therapy and an energetic healing art that can address numerous health issues for musicians.

One advantage of this therapy is that it allows creativity on the practitioner's part to bring individualized healing to your unique lifestyle. Addressing deficiencies in the energy of the auditory system and removing noise pollution may not be crucial for every person, yet this could be invaluable for a professional musician. Biomagnetic Adjustment utilizes your own healing energy to be directed where desired or deficient in order to heal your body’s complete electromagnetic energy (EME). This energy work is intuitive, yet also has a methodical approach to help heal your energetic body. Dr. Nicholas Lorenz chose to become a Naprapath after this hands-on healing art solved an elbow injury that held him back as a percussionist. Naprapathic medicine is utilized for the entire musculoskeletal system and it was the best medicine to return him to full function while eliminating physical pain. He sees himself as a bridge between the eastern holistic and western allopathic communities. Dr. Lorenz graduated Valedictorian from the National College of Naprapathic Medicine in Chicago. Prior to this, he received his Bachelors in Integrative Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After witnessing remarkable results in a patient who received Biomagnetic Adjustment, Dr. Lorenz sought out this therapy himself to combat “practitioner fatigue." As a Tier III certified “Vitalist” from the Vitalist’s Academy of Biomagnetic Adjustment Dr. Lorenz blends the physical and energetic arts to provide the best realization of patients’ goals. Dr. Lorenz is also dedicated to creating a music room for his two children so that he and his wife can accompany them on any instrument needed as they “hopefully” become musically inclined. He has played drums for 27 years, bass guitar for 7 years and barely knows how to play analog synthesizers and electric guitar.
