Designed specifically for student members of the Society, this session includes student presenters Rachel McLaughlin (Valparaiso University), Patrick Jansen (University of Cincinnati College - Conservatory of Music), Catherine Tlusty (North Dakota State University), and Michael Conrad (University of Northern Colorado), along with faculty co-chair Dr. Joseph Plazak (Illinois Wesleyan University). In preparation for the 2016 CMS national conference, topics discussed include (1) Why are students important to CMS? Why is CMS important for students?, (2) CMS Conference Financial Tips, (3) Advice for Professional Networking, and (4) Navigating the conference program.
