Seventy-First National Conference (2028)

**Hosted jointly alongside the American Musicological Society, Society for Music Theory, and Society for Ethnomusicology

CMS recognizes that this conference occurs in close succession to the annual convening of the National Association of Schools of Music. We understand that this timing may present challenges for our members. Scheduling conferences is complex, and while we strive to avoid conflicts with our partner organizations, it is not always possible to eliminate them entirely. This does not diminish our support for NASM. CMS values the critical role NASM plays in advancing music in higher education, and we extend our full support to their important work. We look forward to future opportunities to gather in partnership and continue strengthening the connections across our shared community.
