The CMS Council on Music Theory is excited to announce an upcoming Aural Skills and Music Theory Lightning Symposium on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM ET. This dynamic event is a unique chance to dive into twenty innovative techniques designed to transform your classroom experience. We are truly honored to welcome our distinguished guest speakers, Dr. Roger Graybill (New England Conservatory) and Dr. Betsy Marvin (Eastman School of Music), for what promises to be an inspiring day.

The symposium will be conducted via Zoom and is free for all attendees. While the event is open to everyone, please note that all speakers are required to be CMS members. Membership provides additional benefits, including access to event handouts.
