To administer your conference registration
We use your personal information to process registrations, payments, hotel reservations, donations, memberships, and other conference-related transactions. Payment information is processed through secure third-party payment providers. CMS does not retain complete credit card or debit card numbers.
To communicate with you
We use the contact information you provide to send important information regarding conference programming, schedules, logistics, registration status, payment confirmations, and other event-related updates. We may also contact you regarding future CMS conferences and programs.
To provide accommodations and support
Information regarding dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, or other requests is used solely to provide appropriate accommodations and improve your conference experience.
To publish conference materials
Presenter names, institutional affiliations, presentation titles, and professional biographies may be included in printed and digital conference programs, schedules, and promotional materials.
Names and affiliations of session moderators and presiders may also be published. Personal information about non-presenting attendees will not be made public unless the attendee voluntarily chooses to share it.
To produce conference materials
CMS may include your name, affiliation, and applicable leadership role on your conference badge and other conference materials. Any unused personalized materials remaining after the conference will be securely destroyed.
To respond during emergencies
If an emergency occurs during the conference and you are unable to assist yourself, CMS may contact emergency responders, healthcare providers, and the emergency contact you designated during registration.
To improve CMS programs and services
CMS may invite you to complete surveys or provide feedback to help improve future conferences, programs, and member services.
To consider future volunteer or leadership opportunities
CMS may use information such as your professional experience, volunteer service, and educational background when considering appointments to committees, councils, or other leadership roles within the Society.
To protect CMS systems and services
